About the Centre for Inclusive Employment

Last updated: 30 Oct 2025

The Centre will work collaboratively with people with disability, employment service providers and programs, employers, researchers and others to bring evidence-informed practice into employment service systems.

The purpose of the Centre for Inclusive Employment is to provide resources, tools and training to help providers deliver quality employment services and supports to both participants with disability and employers.

This website aims to provide guidance to people who are supporting people with disability to find and maintain employment. It is for:

  • employment service providers
  • employers
  • education and training providers
  • careers advisors
  • organisations offering employment programs and activities such as Work Integration Social Enterprises
  • family members and supporters of people with disability
  • people with disability (to guide the type of employment supports they seek out and the sorts of support they might ask for from employment services and employers)
  • policymakers and funders.

It is based on Australian and international evidence about ‘what works’ in fostering employment for people with disability.

This online hub is currently in Beta format. Information and resources will be added continuously. Feedback on the online hub can be provided by emailing us at info@centreforinclusiveemployment.au
