Zero Project report 2025: employment and ICT
Overview
The Zero Project’s mission is to work towards a world with zero barriers by supporting the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). Worldwide, the Zero Project funds and shares solutions that improve the daily lives and legal rights of persons with disabilities.
The 2025 Zero Project report centres on research and innovation activities in employment, highlighting the increasing importance of information and communication technologies. All network activities are based on the Zero Project’s unique research method, with its three pillars of:
- selecting solutions based on their innovation, impact and potential to scale
- engaging with thousands of Zero Project Network members as part of the nomination and selection processes
- supporting the selected solutions to increase their impact.

- Disabled people's organisations as facilitators and drivers of company strategies
- Encouraging employers with standards, data and certification
- Entrepreneurship programs for people with disability

- Information and communication technology solutions for the visually impaired and deaf
