Visual resumes: Developing visual resumes for work

A recording of an online workshop about visual resumes which are used as part of Customised Employment. Customised Employment tailors a job or self-employment to fit the interests, contributions and conditions for success of a person with disability, while also meeting the needs of a business or the market for a product or service. 

A visual resume is an effective tool in demonstrating a job seeker with disability's interests and skills. It tells a visual story about the person’s talents, skills, experiences and tasks they have done. It also enables employers to visualise the person within their business. Visual resumes can take the form of either written documents or videos. In the workshop, the focus is on the written format, with a step-by-step walkthrough of a sample visual resume of Jack Kruger to illustrate the process.
