What is a microenterprise?

Overview

A series of videos about microenterprises to learn about what they are and how to plan for one. A microenterprise is a small business established to create meaningful employment for a person with intellectual disability. It provides a pathway to self‑employment, tailored to the individual’s strengths, interests and needs. Each microenterprise is designed to reflect the person’s goals while offering opportunities for connection and contribution. 

This series includes three examples of people setting up their own microenterprises.
